Retro Wedding at Alani Kada Maxwell | Ilias & Vanessa
Ilias and Vanessa’s wedding at Kada Maxwell was a dream for anyone who loves a good retro vibe. This building has so much soul, and it was the perfect place for their story.
Location: Alani, Kada Maxwell
Session Type: Wedding Photography
The 1929 Heritage Lift
The coolest part of the building is definitely the old electric lift. It has those classic manual iron gates from 1929. Taking photos of the couple inside felt like we had traveled back in time. The light coming through the metal gates was just beautiful.
The Vibe at Alani
After some photos on the rooftop, we went to Alani for the ceremony. It was a simple and sweet solemnization. You could really feel the love from their family and friends who came to watch them get married.
Personal Touches
Vanessa is so creative! She added so many DIY details that made the day special:
Custom Art: She made a tinted glass sign with their names and even drew on a standing mirror for guests to take selfies.
The "Cartoon" Guestbook: Instead of just writing names, guests drew funny cartoon faces of themselves in a book. It was so much fun to look through.
DIY Photos: They had a small portable printer so guests could print their own photos instantly.
A Wild Ending
When it got dark, everyone went outside to play with sparklers. It didn’t matter if you were young or old; everyone had a smile on their face.
The best part of the night was the dance floor. They did a Greek-style dance that was full of energy and so much fun to watch. It was the perfect way to end a day that was all about real moments and big smiles.
