Mount Faber Peak Wedding: A Scenic Vow Exchange with Kelvin & Maggie
After capturing their rustic prewedding at Coney Island, it was a joy to step into the next chapter of Kelvin and Maggie’s story. This time, the setting shifted from the wild forests to the breathtaking heights of a Mount Faber Peak wedding. Documenting their solemnisation against the backdrop of the cable cars and the harbor was truly special.
Ringing in a New Chapter
One of the most unique features of this venue is the garden area featuring the iconic two big wedding bells at Mount Faber Peak. These giant bronze bells are more than just a beautiful photo spot; they represent a tradition of ringing in a new life together. Watching Kelvin and Maggie stand by the bells, surrounded by lush greenery and the sound of the wind, made for some truly artful and symbolic moments.
An Intimate Solemnisation Above the City
Mount Faber Peak offers one of the most iconic views in Singapore. For Kelvin and Maggie, the hilltop setting provided a perfect mix of elegance and nature. As a "Quiet Observer," I focused on the small, honest moments—the deep breath before the vows, the shared glances, and the quiet celebration with their closest friends and family.
Helping a Friend Feel at Ease
As I mentioned during their pre-wedding shoot, Kelvin is an old army mate who used to feel a bit self-conscious in front of the lens. Having spent the day at Coney Island together, he was much more relaxed for the wedding day. By using simple prompts and keeping things light, I was able to capture his genuine smiles and the real connection he shares with Maggie. This is the heart of the "Story & Art" approach—making sure the couple feels comfortable enough to be themselves.
